NEW DELHI: Climate activist Disha Ravi was granted bail by a Delhi court on Tuesday after 8 days.
Activist Ravi was arrested by the police on February 13 from Bengaluru for allegedly editing and dissemination of the toolkit document which the police claimed was intended to incite unrest during the farmers' ongoing protests against the three new farm laws passed in September, last year.
She was first produced before the Patiala House Court, and after she was granted bail on Tuesday, the immense relief brought tears in her eyes.

During her second production before Metropolitan Magistrate Akash Jain on February 19, Ravi looked nervous about the strong media presence and the crowd at the court premises.
However, she refused to say anything, when she was asked about her reaction on her bail, while her relatives also avoided questions.
Two of her relatives, who were present in the court, also avoided questions.
Ravi was brought to the court amid high security where the police, represented by Public Prosecutor (PP) Vikas Singh, sought custody for four days to confront her with the other two co-accused Mumbai lawyer, Nikita Jacob, and Shantanu Muluk, a Pune engineer.
She was released from Tihar yesterday night.
