BSNL Scam: Do not respond to THIS message

GUWAHATI: If reports are to be believed, mobile sets using BSNL SIM cards are being bombarded with spam messages.

We have received information that BSNL mobile subscribers are receiving a message that says: "Dear customer your sim Document has been expired Today. Your service block within 24 hours call us 9883875318 immediately. thank you"

As per BSNL officials, it is a fake message. Therefore, subscribers have been urged not to respond to the message as it is not clear what will happen if one dials the number mentioned in the spam message.
