IMPHAL: Troopers of Assam Rifles have recovered contraband drugs valued approximately Rs 1.82 crores in Manipur.
The seized contraband which includes 450 grams of Heroin and 23594 WIY tablets was recovered from Bhimpadaw village in Kangpokpi district yesterday.

“ASSAM RIFLES RECOVERS CONTRABAND IN MANIPUR Jwalamukhi battallion of Assam Rifles on 18 Apr recovered contraband drugs including 450 grams of Heroin and 23594 WIY tablets (total worth Rs 1.82 crores) in Bhimpadaw Vill of Kangpokpi district, Senapati, Manipur,” Assam Rifle tweeted after making the seizure.

Recently two people were arrested after drugs worth 20 lakhs, which includes 610 Yaba tablets and 27 gm of heroin were seized in Imphal East district of the state.
