PARIS: France is standing by India as a true friend in this time of crisis. In these hard times, French President Emmanuel Macron wrote a post in Hindi expressing solidarity with the people of India.
He recently wrote on Facebook, "The pandemic we are experiencing has affected everybody. We are aware that India is undergoing a difficult time. France and India have always been together, and we stand ready to help."

Macron wrote, "Medical supplies, ventilators, and oxygen, as well as eight oxygen generators, will be sent to India by France. By producing oxygen from the ambient air, each generator will make a hospital self-sufficient for ten years. Our ministries' offices are putting in long hours. Our French companies are mobilising, and their numbers are growing!"
"Solidarity is at the core of our country," said the French President. It is at the heart of our countries' friendship. We will win together.
Indians have reacted positively to the post, thanking the French President for his humanitarian gesture.
