GANGTOK: In a shocking incident reported from Geyzing, capital of the West Sikkim district of Sikkim, a half-burnt body of a woman was discovered near the Langang Kholsa area. Police have said that they have not ruled out foul play.

"On December 12 around 10 am, we received telephonic information from one Nar Bdr. Tamang to the effect that one partially burnt dead body was found lying at Langang Kholsa," an official said.

During investigation, the deceased was identified as Kamala Limboo, 45 yrs., wife of a certain Mangal Singh Limboo. Limboo was a resident of Toyang Busty, Gyalshing.

was reportedly missing for the last few days. The dead body has been forwarded to STNM hospital Gangtok for post mortem examination. The case is under further investigation.

According to sources, the half-burnt body of the unidentified women was found lying at Langang Kholsa, Gyalshing. The upper portion of the body was completely burnt, due to which her face could not be recognized immediately.

Police have registered a case of murder at Geyzing, U/S 174 CR.P.C (unnatural death in a doubtful state), said sources.
