India reports 113 COVID-19 deaths over the past 24 hours

NEW DELHI: India reported over 113 deaths due to COVID-19 infection in the last 24 hours, this was informed by the Union Health Ministry yesterday.

 

The total number of fresh COVID-19 cases in the country is 16,838, in the past 24 hours.

 

More than 13,819 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, with this number of recoveries stands at,08,39,894.

While the total number of COVID-19 cases stands at 1,11,73,761, the active cases stand at 1,76,319.

The death toll has reached 1,57,548.

 

A total of 1,80,05,503 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 so far, informed the health ministry.

Maharashtra is the most affected state in India, followed by Kerala.
