India reports 4529 COVID deaths in last 24 hours, highest single day spike

NEW DELHI: In the last 24 hours, as many as 4529 people succumbed to COVID-19 in India, reported by the union health ministry, which is the highest day spike ever.

On the other hand number of daily news, cases continue to fall as 2,67,334 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last which pushes the national tally to 2,54,96,330.

India's death toll reaches 2,83,248 as of now.

Active cases stand at 32,26,719.

As many as 2,19,86,363 people were discharged on recovery.

A total of 18,58,09,302 people got vaccinated in India as of now.
