NEW DELHI: India in the past 24 hours reported 3.26 lakh new cases, taking the country's caseload to 2.43 crore.
The death toll has risen up to 2.66 lakh with 3,980 more people succumbing to the disease in 24 hours.

The total number of COVID-19 recoveries in the country has reached two crores, with 3,44,776 patients recovering in a single day.
Recovery cases have now outnumbered regular cases for the fourth time in the last five days.
According to the Health Ministry, more than 18 crore vaccine doses have been distributed in the country as of Friday.
According to the data, there are 36,73,802 active cases in the country till yesterday, accounting for 15.41 percent of the total caseload.
The recovery rate in India is now at 83.5 percent.
