Manipur CM flags off press tour to Myanmar.

Imphal, September 9, 2018:

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Sunday flagged off a nine-day "External Conducted Press Tour" to Yangon, Myanmar from the office complex of Directorate of Information and Public Relations.

Speaking on the occasion, Singh said, “After the installation of NDA government at the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Act East Policy is being implemented to build up cordial relationship between India and neighbouring countries”.

He was optimistic that the press tour would strengthen the relationship between India and Myanmar. The flag off ceremony was also attended by DIPR Commissioner RK Dinesh Singh
