Imphal, July 9, 2019:
Two female drug smugglers were arrested along with 13 kgs of opium in a raid at a hideout at Nachou Lamkhai, Bishnupur of Manipur. This information was relayed by PRO of Manipur Police, Basu Singh.
Acting on specific information, a team of Narcotic and Affairs of Border, Imphal, Manipur has arrested the two female drug smugglers and charged them with a case under the NDPS Act 1985.
The apprehendees have been identified as Kikim Haokip (50), and Hevah Haokip (49), both hailing from Pangmol Village of Kangpokpi District of Manipur.
