World Health Organization (WHO) donated 150 oxygen concentrators to the Government of Manipur to aid the state in combating COVID-19.

World Health Organization (WHO) donated 150 oxygen concentrators to the Government of Manipur to aid the state in combating COVID-19.

Manipur Chief Minister N.Biren Singh took to Twitter to make the announcement on Monday.

"More help coming in for Manipur from international organisations. Today the World Health Organisation donated 150 oxygen concentrators to the Government of Manipur. We can’t be more thankful to WHO as these oxygen concentrators will be of great help in our covid relief efforts", said the Chief Minister.

Manipur, so far, has recorded a total of 44,089 cases of COVID-19 with 6534 active cases. The current recovery rate of the state is 83.61% with a total of 36,867 recoveries. A total of 688 succumbed to the virus in the state so far
