Manipur records 104 fresh COVID-19 positive cases; tally at 30,151

IMPHAL: Manipur recorded 104 fresh COVID-19 positive cases over the past 24 hours, taking the tally in the state to 30,151.

However, the death toll remained unchanged at 381.

As many as 41 new cases were reported from Imphal West, 30 from Imphal East, 11 from Churachandpur, seven from Ukhrul, three each from Kakching and Bishnupur, two each from Senapati, Kamjong, Kangpokpi and Chandel districts, while Thoubal reported a single case during the period.

A total of 29,180 people have recuperated from the disease so far, including 27 yesterday.

The state now has an active caseload of 590.

Manipur has so far conducted 6,01,600 COVID-19 tests including 1,799 yesterday.

On the other hand, a total of 1.18 lakh people have received the COVID-19 vaccine so far in the state.
