Manipur records 314 fresh COVID cases, Mizoram 140 and Tripura 124 in 24 hours

IMPHAL: In the past 24 hours Manipur records 314 fresh COVID-19 cases, Mizoram logs 140 new cases and Tripura records 124 fresh cases of the virus.

With the 314 fresh cases, Manipur's COVID tally has reached 31315, while the death tally stands at 400 with five more new fatalities reported during the period.

The state currently has 1225 active cases, and 29690 people infected with the virus have so far been discharged.

Mizoram in the past 24 hours reported 140 new cases of the virus, taking the cumulative number of the disease to 6019.

Meanwhile, one person has died due to the virus, with this the death toll stands at 14.

As many as 4882 people infected with the virus have so far been discharged during the day. The state currently has 1123 active cases.

On the other hand in Tripura, the total number of cases of COVID-19 jumped to 34859 with 124 news cases reported in the state in the past 24 hours.

Two more people succumbed to the virus in the state during the day taking the tally of death to 393.

The state currently has 951 active cases and a total of 33492 people infected with the disease have been discharged so far.
