Manipur: Suspected illegal immigrants sent back

Jiribam (Manipur), Aug 24, 2018:

The Jiribam police on Friday detected at least 30 suspected illegal immigrants from a train at Jiribam railway station. They could not furnish any valid documents in support of their nationality.

According to the police, a round-the-clock drive has been launched to detect illegal immigrants. Of the 30 people detected, there were three girls. All of them were sent back by the same train and the matter has been forwarded to the authority concerned, the police added.
