Meghalaya: Cherry Blossom Festival in Shillong to be organised from Nov 25-27

SHILLONG: The Cherry Blossom Festival in Shillong is all set to make a comeback this year and the event will be held from November 25 to 27.

Competitions including singing, fashion shows etc., will be organised during the three-day event.

The Cherry Blossom Festival has become a hit in Shillong drawing a large footfall of visitors every year.

In 2020, however, the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chief Minister Conrad Sangma also shared his thoughts about the upcoming festival on Twitter, “Some beautiful #cherryblossoms around #Shillong in the past years. It’s almost Cherry Blossom season and the #Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival is back! Join us from the 25th-27th November, 2021.”
