SHILLONG: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday lauded shops and establishments for displaying signs stating that their staff and teams are vaccinated.
Appreciating the step, the Chief Minister said, " Good to see different shops displaying signs of their teams having received vaccines".

The Chief Minister further encourage others as well to get vaccinated for their safety of their customers.
Reportedly, the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi hills initiated mandatory vaccination for all shopkeepers as well as urged to spread awareness to boos vaccination.
Sangma also informed that the vaccination drive is ongoing at Iewduh along with awareness by doctors to shopkeepers and hawkers on Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
More than 350 shopkeepers turned up to be vaccinated, informed the Chief Minister.
He further said that the state has been able to touch 50,000 doses in the last 5 days of intensified vaccination drive.
"Kudos to the communities taking active participation and healthcare workers", praised the Chief Minister.
He further expressed gratitude to the central government for continuous supply pf vaccines as well the support the vaccination drive.
