Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday inspected the venue of Northeast Food Show which will begin in Shillong from Wednesday.
Sangma shared a few pictures of the venue in Twitter handle and captioned, “Inspected the venue for Northeast’s biggest food innovation exhibition that begins in Shillong tomorrow. We are upbeat and optimistic that the event will leverage the opportunities of our farmers produces from across Northeast and beyond. #TheNortheastFoodShow @sialindia”

Sangma said that the Northeast Food Show is expected to be a huge event by the Government of Meghalaya, wherein food entrepreneurs across the region would be featuring and varied flavors of the Northeast would be showcased.
Lauding the people’s support for the biggest food show in the Northeast, Sangma said, “It took us more than one and half years to plan the event. Over 100 dignitaries will be attending the event from across India and those engaged with the food segment, such as chefs, farmers, technology providers, etc. will be part of the event.”

The event will change the entire Food Processing sector and Food Industries in the North Eastern region. This will also boost the entrepreneurs of the region, he added.
