Mizoram hit by double whammy of Covid-19 pandemic & rise in fuel prices

AIZAWL: The fuel price hike is also burning a hole in the pockets of the citizens in Mizoram along with other states as the monthly budget is already reeling under the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the state.

The petrol price today in Aizawl is Rs. 96.76 per litre. The last change in Aizawl's petrol price was on July 4, 2021, when it was increased by +0.1 rupees.

In the last 10 days, the petrol price in Aizawl has been fluctuating between Rs 95.08 and Rs 96.53. The petrol price is inclusive of Mizoram state taxes.

In some districts, the price of petrol was higher than in the state capital, causing immense worry for vehicle owners.
