Mumbai man brutally attacks dogs & puts them in sacks to 'cover crime'; FIR filed

MUMBAI: In a shocking incident reported from Mumbai in Maharashtra, a youth residing in the Mira Naga locality brutally attacked two dogs and put them in "plastic bags to cover up the crime." While one of the dogs died, the other is said to be in a 'critical' state.

According to the popular Instagram page streetdogsofbombay, Farhan Shaikh, a resident of Mira Road, beat up two innocent dogs and put them in plastic bags. He even even attacked locals who were feeding the dogs.

The dog feeders later retrieved the dogs in a near-dead state and tried to nurse them back to health. However, one of the dogs tragically passed away after a brief struggle.

After the incident came to light, local dog feeders gheraoed the suspect and a situation of hue-and-cry ensued, with dog lovers demanding strict action against the youth.

Later, the enraged locals went ahead and filed a complaint at the Naya Nagar police station in Mira Road.

According to reports, the accused said that "if dog feeding is stoped, the local dogs won’t exist."

Meanwhile, netizens have reacted with horror at this incident of shocking cruelty.

"Please take strict action. A life is a life whether its a human or an animal," a user wrote, while another said, "Shame on them! No idea when will ppl get their true senses back😡😣."
