Kohima, July 16, 2019:

Onen Nenty (real name Inenienla Omsong), the daring Naga biker girl who had undertaken a 'solo tour' across the state to spread the message of women's empowerment, finally returned back home to Kohima on Monday.

The 27-year-old adventure junkie had started her journey on July 19 travelled across the whole state on her Royal Enfield Himalayan bike.

She was flagged off by Nagaland governor PB Acharya himself and and his wife from Raj Bhavan in Kohima and recorded her entire trip on GoPro cameras.

The young adventurer toured the state under the banner of ‘Kongro Naga on Wheels’ (KNOW), an NGO she founded in association with K&K motors, Monster Beverage and Dream Cafe.

‘Kongro’ in Ao Naga dialect refers to women from the Ongpangkong range, one of the six mountain ranges of Mokokchung district in Nagaland.

The Naga adventurer met many dignitaries and fellow thrill seekers during her trip and has shared many of these experiences with her 16.5K followers on social media platform Instagram.

A dozen male bikers escorted her to the The Heritage, Kohima, where family, friends, and well wishers awaited to extend her a warm welcome.

Speaking to media persons after her arrival back home, she said that she is "glad to be back".
