Nagaland reported 75 new COVID-19 cases taking the state’s total to 1459, state Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom informed.
Out of the 75 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 51 are from Kohima, 10 from Phek, 7 from Wokha, 3 each from Mon and Dimapur, and 1 from Tuensang.
Of the 1459 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, 885 are still active and 569 have recovered while the death toll rose up to 5 in the state.

With 654 new deaths and 47,704 new cases reported in last 24 hours, the tally has gone up to 14,83,156. The death toll is now 33425, as per data released by the Union Health Ministry. Active cases in India stand at 496988 while 952743 have been cured or discharged so far.
Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 13 thousand deaths. It has recorded 147896 active corona cases, 221944 cured and 13883 deaths. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has 10994 active corona cases, 116372 cured and 3853 deaths. Tamil Nadu has 54896 active cases, 3571 deaths. Gujarat with 13146 active COVID-19 cases, 41380 cured and 2348 deaths.
