Nagaland Police's Special Task Force and Assam Rifles Conduct Joint Security Drill

Dimapur, August 28, 2019:

Nagaland Police's Special Task Force and Assam Rifles conducted a joint security drill in Nagaland's commercial hub, Dimapur, on August 28.

The joint drill was aimed at achieving synchronization of actions by all stakeholders for security and disaster relief contingencies.

The Assam Rifles, in a release, said that the forces participating in the exercise discussed the nuances of carrying out different types of operations in a coordinated manner.

These included establishing of check posts, carrying out 'area domination', real time intelligence sharing and providing aid during emergencies and natural calamities.

On culmination of the event, the participants expressed satisfaction with the level of coordination achieved and the lessons learnt during the exercise.
