Nagaland's COVID -19 patients recovery crosses 22,000 mark

KOHIMA: COVID-19 patient's recovery in Nagaland has crossed the 22,000 marks in the past 24 hours.

On Friday a total of 127 people infected with the virus were recovered and discharged.

Meanwhile, the state reported 130 new cases of the infection taking the state's COVID caseload to 24,759.

Of the total new cases, Mon district reported 37 cases followed by Dimapur (31), Peren (20), Mokochung (13), Kohima (11), and other districts.

Nagaland for the first time in 20 days reported more new cases of the virus than the recoveries of patients.

The recovery rate in the state currently is 89.15%.

The number of deaths due to COVID in the state has now reached 481.

The state currently has 1,508 active cases of COVID-19.

Until Thursday, Nagaland had given out 4,48,621 doses of COVID vaccine to 3,91,728 people.
