Tripura: National anthem to be played before starting any council sessions: Pradyot Manikya DebBarma

AGARTALA: Pradyot Manikya, the chairman of TIPRA and head of the erstwhile royal house of Tripura today said that from now onwards, all council sessions in the state will start with the national anthem.

Earlier in a letter to the chairman of TTAADC, Pradyot Manikya suggested starting all the council sessions with NATIONAL ANTHEM, as this step will strengthen the spirit of the state council.

Taking to the microblogging site Twitter, Pradyot Manikya wrote, " I am glad that both CEM and Leader of the opposition have agreed to my suggestion that from now on all council session will start with the national anthem! This was never followed under the previous administration."
