GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is all set to formally start the Vistadome services from Tinsukia to Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh from October 23, 2021.
The Vistadome train ( 05906/05906 ) will run four days a week from Tinsukia to Arunachal Pradesh's Naharlagun.
Passengers will have access to all facilities on the train.
Train no. 05907 will run from Tinsukia on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays while, train no. 05908 from Naharlagun will run on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
Before the service begins, the NF Railway conducted a trial run of the new train from Tinsukia to Dibrugarh railway station yesterday.

During the trial run, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Bijay Kumar Mishra was present along with other railway staff.
It is to be noted that from October 23, the train service will be open for tourists as well as general travelers.
The Vistadome trains are designed to help travelers/tourists to experience the scenic beauty and to display the cultural heritage of the region during the unique journey.
The collaboration with the tourism department will aid in the growth of the tourism industry as well as the local economy.
