ASSAM: BONGAIGAON DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION ISSUED ORDERS TO PREVENT ROAD ACCIDENTS

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner Babulal Sarma District Magistrate for the safety of the public issued an order to prevent road accident. Due to rise of Accidents on the National Highway (NH) wearing of Helmets made compulsory. The DC office issued orders to all the Petrol pump stations in Bongaigaon not to provide any petrol or any Lubricant oil to person driving without helmets. If any person found to be violating the orders will be prosecuted under section 188 IPC.

This order is enforced on public interest to minimize the accidents related to head injuries which can be avoided and controlled. The administration clearly stated that deaths of the Motor cyclists or Scooterist without Helmets is not acceptable and will not be allowed. A copy of the order has been distributed to the entire related department for the upholding of the law released.
