NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind who had undergoing check-up at an Army hospital on Friday is expected to to undergo a planned bypass procedure today at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here.
President Kovind was admitted to Army hospital following heart discomfort, later he was shifted to AIIMS on Sunday afternoon.
The 75-year-old's health condition is stable and he is under the care of experts, doctors said.

However, according to doctors, Kovind was suggested to undergo a scheduled bypass procedure which is expected to be performed today.
A day after being admitted to the hospital, President Kovind continued to work as he gave his assent to a bill giving the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi primacy over the elected government.
