TIZIT: Private schools in the Tizit town under Mon district of Nagaland have reportedly resumed classes despite the government's order to suspend all regular classes for class X and below.

The schools have violated government order No.NSDMA -ER-COVID19/301/2020 (Part-II) Kohima, dated 18 August 2021.

Following the action of the schools for not complying with the government order, the Deputy Commissioner of Mon district issued a show-cause notice to those private schools on September 10 to submit a written reply why action should not be initiated against them under the Disaster Management Act 2005.
