Sikkim health secretary's son killed in road accident

He passed away in a tragic accident in the wee hours of the morning today at Bulbuley Area near the Sikkim capital Gangtok

GANGTOK: Two persons -- including Mewang Gyatso, son of Sikkim Health Secretary Pempa Tshering Bhutia -- passed away in a tragic accident in the wee hours of the morning today at Bulbuley Area near the Sikkim capital Gangtok. At least three others have suffered injuries.

According to police sources, the incident occurred at around 3 am on February 11 when a Hyundai i-10 vehicle boarded by five met with an accident.

 

Gyatso (24) and Michelle Grace Lepcha ( 20) died on the way to the hospital, while Chris Pradhan, Shaswat Mimami, and Siddharth Basnet have sustained bodily injuries and are under medical treatment, sources informed Inside Northeast.
