Sikkim Minister inspects Chenrezig Statue site

Gangtok (Sikkim), September 6, 2018:

Sikkim Minister for Building and Transport, Dorjee Tsh Lepcha, on Thursday inspected the Chenrezig Statue which will be inaugurated on October 8.

The establishment of Chenrezig Singkham Reo-Potala at Sanga Choeling West Sikkim is going to be another great stop in Himalayan Bhuddhist Circuit. With the site spread over nearly ten acres of land, the installation of the statue is aimed at developing pilgrimage tourism conceived and initiated by Chief Minister Pawan Chamling.

The height of the main statue is 75.4 ft. and the total height of the structure is 135.4 ft.
