GANGTOK: Sikkim Under-19 Women’s cricket team registered their second consecutive win in the ongoing Women’s U-19 One day trophy against Manipur by 23 runs today at Bhubaneshwar earning 8 point(s) so far.

GANGTOK: Sikkim Under-19 Women’s cricket team registered their second consecutive win in the ongoing Women’s U-19 One day trophy against Manipur by 23 runs today at Bhubaneshwar earning 8 point(s) so far.

The team won the toss and chose to bat first. In the first innings, they scored 197 runs losing 6 wickets. Nandita Das scored 55 runs, Samayita 29 runs, Yuden 30 runs, Pranita Chettri 7 runs not-out and Captain Pretika Chettri 2 runs not-out.

In the second innings, Manipur scored 174 runs in 50 overs with the loss of 9 wickets. Pranita Chettri took 3 wickets, Safalta Limboo, Samayita and Nur Pandi Lepcha took 1 wicket each.

Sikkim will be playing against Meghalaya tomorrow at Railway Stadium in Bhubaneshwar.
