A total of 105 athletes have qualified for the Tokyo Olympics so far. Fourteen more from athletics are anticipated to make the cut, with two each from tennis, archery, golf, and swimming.

“When the qualification process is completed, we expect to reach 125 to 135 (qualified athletes) in the next two to three weeks,” Batra said at the online event.

He added, "this means the Indian contingent, including officials and support workers is expected to be around 190."

“Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a review of the country's preparation for the Olympics,” Rijiju said as he unveiled the Indian contingent's official uniform.
