AGARTALA: The Tripura government on Friday took the decision to extend the ongoing curfew in the state.
As per the official notification, the day curfew will remain in effect till 6PM of June 10, while the night curfew will has been extended up to 5AM of June 11.
Inter-district movement of vehicles and people will remain banned till 6pm of June 10.

Shops dealing with essential items like groceries, vegetables, milk, meat and fish have been allowed to remain open till 2 pm instead of the earlier deadline of 12pm
There shall be no curbs on movemnet if goods including petroleum product, empty goods vehickes and loading/unloading thereof, the order stated.
Home delivery from hotels, restauranys and other eateries will be allowed.
Marriage functions will be allowed with not more than 50 persons upto 10pm. In case of funerals, only 20 persons will be allowed to be present during the last rites.
The restrictions were earlier scheduled to be over on June 6. However, the extension was decided to keeping in mind the current COVID scenario of the state.
The state government had first imposed the restrictions in the Agartala Municipal Corporation area on May 16 and 10 days later, extended corona curfew to all the 29 urban local bodies.
