AGARTALA: Tripura government following a cabinet meeting on Tuesday decided to provide facilities to all Sarva Siksha teachers in accordance with the High Court of Tripura's decision.

There are concerns that regularising all education teachers in violation of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines may result in legal issues in the future because only 45 of all teachers passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

They will be paid the same as regular teachers.

Teachers who have passed the TET will also be paid on a regular basis.

The remaining 4,442 received D.El.Ed degrees after being hired by the SSA, but they have yet to pass the TET.

Furthermore, 195 teachers did not receive D.El.Ed or B.Ed degrees.

The most surprising fact is that 45 of them have only completed secondary school.

As a result, it has become critical to take steps to qualify them in accordance with the Right to Education Act.

Furthermore, the Tripura High Court has stated that the state government should develop a special scheme to regularise teachers of all levels of education.

As a result, D.El.Ed degree with Class 12 pass for secondary passers and 50% for those who do not have the opportunity to obtain that number in the special system and above all TET government will assist them in passing.

Reports also suggestthat, if they do not qualify as teachers according to NCTE guidelines, they will not be able to be regularised.

They will, however, be paid equally for equal work. In this case, they will not receive pension benefits upon retirement from their job.
