Airtel Ties Up with Bharti AXA to Offer New Prepaid Plan with Life insurance

New Delhi, January 19, 2020:

Bharti Airtel has partnered with Bharti AXA Life Insurance to provide the most affordable prepaid pack along with a built-in life insurance cover for its users.

The service provider has come up with a new prepaid pack of Rs 179, which offers unlimited calling to any network, 2 GB data, 300 SMS along with a term life cover of Rs 2 lakh from Bharti AXA Life Insurance. It will be valid for 28 days.

Bharti Airtel’s Chief Marketing Officer, Shashwat Sharma said that the new recharge plan would offer one of the simplest and most accessible platforms to hundreds of millions of Indians to financially secure themselves and their families while staying connected on the Airtel network.

Managing Director and CEO, Bharti AXA Life Insurance, Vikas Seth welcomed the partnership and said that the new plan, combined with the Life Insurance one, would help penetrate insurance in the country.

It may be mentioned here that the insurance cover will be available to all the Airtel users aged between 18 and 54 years. The Insurance Certificate will be delivered digitally and a physical copy of the insurance will be made available on request.

The new plan will be accessible at any Airtel retail store or on Airtel Thanks app.
