Shoppers Stop Launches 'Sounds of Guwahati' – a Platform for Aspiring Singers in Guwahati

Guwahati, June 8, 2019:

India’s premier fashion and beauty destination has now come to Guwahati. Shoppers Stop has launched its first store launch at the City Centre Mall. This is the 84^th store of Shoppers Stop and it is now available in 40 cities across the country. The launch celebration was graced by the presence of the versatile and renowned Assamese actress, Barsha Rani Bishaya.

Taking the celebration, a notch higher, Shoppers Stop hosted an event, Sounds of Guwahati - Be the Singing Superstar! Shoppers Stop gave a great platform to all aspiring music artists to come forth and showcase their talent.

The top 10 singers were selected through rigorous rounds of auditions held at the store in the last one month. These winners have come together to create a soulful song dedicated to the Guwahati city.

These singers along with a local band performed LIVE at the event hosted by Shoppers Stop, enthralling audiences with their talent and remarkable performance. Actress, Barsha Rani  Bishaya congratulated and felicitated these music artists during the event. Through this activity, Shoppers Stop brought alive the rich musical heritage and culture of Guwahati.

While shopping at the new store, Barsha Rani Bishaya commented, “I am excited with the entry of Shoppers Stop in Guwahati.
