AIUDF leader, Aminul Islam has strongly refuted recent media reports claiming that he had a clandestine meeting with the chief minister. Islam has gone as far as filing a case against these false reports, asserting that such allegations are baseless and misleading.
In a direct response to Pradyut Bordoloi's claims, Islam labeled them as lies, emphasizing that those who suggest secret meetings in the presence of CCTV cameras are misguided.
Addressing a specific incident, Islam clarified that he was called by the district collector to submit an affidavit, highlighting the transparent and official nature of his interactions.
Islam also commented on Bordoli's recent visit to his residence, stating that while Bordoli sought blessings, he had not made time to seek such blessings for the past three years. Islam hinted at a deeper understanding within the minority community regarding these political maneuvers.
Taking a swipe at Bordoli's political affiliations, Islam predicted that Bordoli would eventually align with the BJP, irrespective of the election outcome.
Aminul expressed confidence in his support base, suggesting that the BJP would face a significant defeat against him, with a margin of three lakh votes.
Islam mentioned Ajmal Sahab's scheduled nine meetings in the Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency on the 15th and 16th, indicating a heightened political engagement in the region.
