Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwat Mann stirred up enthusiasm among supporters as he rallied for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Manoj Dhanwar in Assam's Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency.
Mann resonated with the audience, declaring, "In a country where the king is a trader, the people of that country are beggars."
Mann's campaign trail kicked off at the Gopnari Bengali Balijan ground in Digboi, where he advocated for AAP's vision and agenda.
He further mocked the media, stating that if the Television channels of a state are of the Chief Minister, then by default they will of course glorify him.
Further pledging hands towards the media people saying, "Is there anyone from CM's channel? Then please show him this".
The Punjab Chief Minister's arrival at Mohanbari airport, aboard a Vistara flight, was met with anticipation and excitement, reflecting the growing momentum behind AAP's campaign.
AAP's foray into Assam's electoral landscape is focused on securing victory in Dibrugarh and Sonitpur, two pivotal Lok Sabha seats among the state's 14 constituencies.
