Awesome Assam ambassador Priyanka Chopra inspires memes with 'Met Gala' look

Awesome Assam ambassador Priyanka Chopra turned quite a few heads at the Met Gala with a unique look as she walked up the steps of the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art in a Dior Haute Couture silver gown with colorful feathered ruffles and a matching cape.

But Priyanka's poise and panache during her return to the Gala were perhaps overshadowed by her frizzy and voluminous hair which prompted netizens to poke fun at the Assam tourism ambassador for the unique way in which she styled her hair.

Some compared her hair to Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga, while others compared her hair to the mustache of the notorious dacoit 'Veerappan'.

The theme for this year's Met Gala is Camp: Notes on Fashion. It is inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, Notes on Camp. It may be mentioned that this was Priyanka’s third appearance at the Met Gala and second with hubby Nick Jonas.

The two represented fashion designer Ralph Lauren’s creations at the 2017 event. It was also one of their first dates with each other. Ralph later designed Priyanka’s wedding dress and the outfits for the entire bridal party.
