Alifa is an Indian Bengali drama feature film written and directed by Deep Choudhury and produced by Arman Ahmed was screened at Jyoti Chitraban in Guwahati. The story depicts of survival, poverty, struggle to exist and immigration which is unfolded in a beautiful manner. The film stars Baharul Islam, Joya Seal, Pakeeza Hajmi, Victor Banerjee. An interactive session was also done with the students of Jyoti Chitraban by the Director of the film. Deep Choudhury got the Best Debut Director in 64th National Film Awards. Alifa was also premiered at the 22nd Kolkata International Film Festival at Kolkata and Ottawa Indian Film Festival Awards at Canada
in 2017.
