Bollywood diva Manisha Koirala to attend 3rd Brahmaputra Literary Festival, 2019

Guwahati, February 8, 2019:

The 3rd Brahmaputra Literary Festival is organized by National Book Trust and Publication Board of Assam jointly at Kalakhetra in Panjabari near Silpagram, Guwahati. The 3rd Brahmaputra Literary Festival is scheduled to begin from February 9 and will conclude on February 11.

The festival will be attended by the cancer survivor Bollywood diva Manisha Koirala.

This festival shall hopefully bring the young literary enthusiasts and authors from across the world.

The aim of the festival is to promote cultures, traditions, society, politics, music, identity, media of the North Eastern region of India including national and international elements packaged in the three-day event. Over 100 litterateurs from 20 countries shall take part in this festival.

The main purpose of the event is to promote new ideas and their dissemination. It will also create an enthusiastic atmosphere and offer a platform for intellectual exchanges.

Apart from this, the festival will also bring a focus on ASEAN literature, the literature of countries that surround North East, India.
