Now, some of the leading celebrities from Bollywood have joined the fight against the coronavirus or COVID-19 and have issued a message on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra, which is the state that has been worst-hit by the pandemic of international proportions.
Now, the Maharashtra Government and filmmaker Rohit Shetty, along with a string of Bollywood's biggest names, have come together to join the fight against the deadly pandemic. The video was recently posted by Amitabh Bachchan, among others, on social media. The Big B affixed the following caption to the video: "The film fraternity pleads and cautions for safety and precaution .. on CoVid 19 .. an initiative by the Industry and the CM Maharashtra."
Making the introduction, Amitabh Bachchan says, "Many people across the country have been afflicted with the COVID-19. Pay attention to the following tips.."

Continuing the message, 'Slumdog Millionaire' star Anil Kapoor says, "Pay attention to your personal hygiene. Wash your hands continuously with soap and clean water."
Countinuing the message, diva Madgh"While sneezing or coughing, cover your mouth with a hanky or a tissue, and then throw it into a closed bin.."
If you do not have the option of washing your hands, clean them thoroughly with alcohol-based sanitizers, advises youth heartthrob Ranveer Singh.
Stressing on the need for proper hygiene in the midst of the crisis, Shilpa Shetty says, "Do not follow any fad diet during times likes these. Instead, strengthen your immunity through nutritious food."
Varun Dhawan, star of 'Street Dancer 3D' says that unnecessary travel must be avoided. "Maintain distance of at least 1 metre from sick people", he goes on to add.
Arjun Kapoor then appears in the clip and urges people to take special care of the old and young, as they are most susceptible to the virus.
Ayushman Khurrana has the next message which is: "Do not add to the population in crowded places; if possible, work from home."
Alia Bhatt, Bollywood diva, appears next with the following message: "Without washing your hands, do not touch your mouth, nose or face. If you have sneezing, fever, or wheezing, do not come in contact with anyone. Instead, immediately approach a doctor."

Bachchan, returning to the frame, says, "In these hard times, there is a need for unity and to discharge duties as an obedient citizen, so that instead of being afraid of the virus, we can adopt safety and alertness."
The next precautionary message is given by Ajay Devgn, who says, "One more step towards safety can save not one but many lives."
The final message appears courtesy of Bollywood 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar, who says, "If every citizen follows all of these rules and contribute, we can together avert this danger."
