The Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starring 'War' has collected a humongous Rs. 53.35 crore on its opening day at the box-office. 'War' was released on October 2, on the occasion of 'Gandhi Jayanti'.
The action movie has set the cash registers ringing at the box-office and has become Hrithik's and Tiger's biggest opening till date. It is also YRF's all-time highest-opener.

War released in 4000 screens in India, and 1350 overseas, bringing the total screen count to 5350.
This was announced by box-office analyst Taran Adarsh, who announced that it has emerged as the highest grossing Hindi movie of the year.

Praising the movie on Twitter, Adarsh wrote, "Escapist cinema at its best... Aces: Hrithik and Tiger’s power-packed act and chemistry + dazzling action pieces + stunning visual appeal + ample thrills, twists, suspense... Dear BO, get ready for the typhoon."
