Legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar Celebrates her 90th Birthday Today

India's 'nightingale', the legendary Lata Mangeshkar, who has enthralled many generations of Indian music lovers, is celebrating her 90th birthday today.

The entire nation has come together in wishing the legend on her 90th. World-renowned sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik, sharing a picture of his sand art congratulating Lata, wrote on Twitter, "Happy Birthday to legendary Singer Bharat Ratna @mangeshkarlata Didi. My Sand Art at Puri beach in Odisha #HappyBirthdayLataDidi".

Bollywood's iconic star Dharmendra also took to Twitter to wish the 'nightingale'. "Happy Birthday ? @mangeshkarlata ji Lambi umr ho aap ki aap Khush rahen sehatmand rahen ?????", (may you live long and stay healthy), he wrote.

Many other B-turn celebs like Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Madhur Bhandarkar also wished her good health and long life.

It may be mentioned here that Lata Mangeshkar, the 'nightingale of Bollywood' has the record of singing around 25,000 songs since her debut, in 1942.
