Mirbin Teronpi Wins Zonal Karbi Youth Festival's 'Miss Hamren' Crown

Diphu, Octpber 10, 2019:

Karbi girl Mirbin Teronpi won the 1st Miss Zonal Karbi Youth Festival (ZKYF) Hamren. Serlyn Kropi won the 1st runners up, while Dalimi Teronpi won the 2nd runners-up trophy. Similarly, the 'best costume' award was won by Selin Timungpi and the 'Best Catwalk' was awarded to Mirjelyn Hansepi.

The 1st Miss Zonal Karbi Youth Festival (ZKYF) Hamren competition was organised by Ajir Aroi Mukak Aterank.

It may be mentioned here that the 27th Zonal Karbi Youth Festival celebration was celebrated in Karbi Anglong in more than 21 different places of the district. The event was organised by the Karbi Cultural Society (KCS).

As such, the Karbi Cultural Society, Hamren Zone, celebrated the festival by organizing an event at Hamren Rongbong Ronghang playground from 5-8 October, 2019.

Altogether, about 18 KCS units participated in this event and the Jirjar Club received the title of the best unit, among all the 18 unit or participants.
