Pushpa Thatal, a single mother from Nagaland has been crowned Mrs. Exclusive Classic Beauty 40 plus, a national-level beauty pageant for women above 40 years of age.
The beauty pageant was held on September 21 in New Delhi.
Pushpa Thatal lost her husband in 2018 and is currently living in Dimapur with her two children. Her mother is Changki and her father is a Nepali.
After winning the pageant, Thatal mentioned that the pageant gave her the platform to expose her talents and individuality.
She also expressed that she was proud to represent Nagaland as many pre-assumed that Nagaland to be a backward place, but she proved them wrong.
The single mother runs a small school at Viola colony called ‘Raindrops School’.
Thatal will be representing India at the International-level of the same pageant that is scheduled for next year.
