NEW DELHI: Superstar Rajinikanth will receive his Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's top film honor tomorrow at the National Film Awards in New Delhi.
The actor said the day is very important and for him, as he will be celebrating two special landmarks.
One is he will be receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the other one is his daughter Soundarya Vishagan to introduce an app "HOOTE" for the people of India with which they can raise their voice, thoughts wishes, and ideas.
The actor went on to say that he will launch his daughter's "innovative, useful, and first-of-its-kind" application in his own voice.
Taking to Twitter the superstar wrote, " "Tomorrow is an important occasion for me with two special landmarks. One, Dadasaheb Phalke Award, being conferred upon me by the Government of India because of the love and support of the people."

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar in April this year announced, "Rajinikanth will receive the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2019. We are delighted to present the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2019 to Rajnikant ji, one of India's greatest performers. His work as an actor, producer, and screenwriter is legendary."
