Singing sensation Ranu Mondal's daughter Elizabeth Sathi Roy has lashed out at internet trolls for maligning her mother's image on social media. However, she admitted at the same time, that her mother often invites "trouble" due to her "attitude".
It may be mentioned that Ranu recently became the butt of all jokes after a photo, which projected Ranu as wearing extremely loud make-up, went viral, drawing social media memes and trolls.

Ranu's daughter also admitted that Ranu should not have been made to walk the ramp, as she does not come from a "hi-fi" family and never had the chance to groom herself for the glamorous world of Bollywood.
Ranu, who shot to fame by singing songs by Lata Mangeshkar at the Ranaghat Railway station, also landed in the soup after she refused to take selfies with a fan. She was viciously trolled by netizens, who claimed that Ranu had let fame get to her head. Ranu also abused mediapersons who later asked her about the incident, drawing further condemnation from 'trolls'. Memes of the social medis star also started doing the rounds.
