Guwahati, July 19, 2019:

Assam Heartthrob Zubeen Garg talked about the present flood situation in the state of Assam while addressing the media. Zubeen alleged that the flood situation in the state is caused due to the overflowing of damns.

The singing sensation also took potshots at Priyanka Chopra and said that she probably did not donate any funds for flood relief efforts as she is probably out of money.

He said that since he had been touring in Canada for a while, he was not aware of the exact situation and only came to know about the devastation caused by floods through social media.

Moreover, he informed that he has called a meeting with his loyalists, the Zubeen Garg Fanclub and they are thinking to do something for Kaziranga along with Assam.

He also said that yesterday, fellow celebrity Pabitra Rabha called on him and proposed the construction of highlands. "He is also as emotional as me, but it is not very easy as he says. I cannot save the whole of Kaziranga by myself, but I want to at least do something for Kaziranga", he said.

Last year, I had adopted a Rhino and this year, let's see what can I do for Kaziranga. I am always with the flood-affected. My heartfelt to the Assamese people who died in this flood.
