Renowned actor Pankaj Tripathi inaugurated the Arunachal Rang Mahotsav at Itanagar. The 15-day International Theatre Festival, Itanagar 2024, a grand celebration of theatre and arts in Arunachal Pradesh, begins today.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein warmly welcomed the actor and attended the vibrant festival, which aims to bring together the rich cultural heritage of the state with national and international excellence in theatre.
The Chief Minister stated that he is delighted to have Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi as the 2024 Festival Ambassador and Dr Bharat Gupt, an esteemed Indian classicist and theatre theorist, along with artistes from foreign countries. Their presence adds unparalleled grandeur and inspiration to the festival, and the state is grateful for their support in promoting the arts.
This festival is more than just an event; it is a platform for talented youth to showcase their creativity and passion alongside artists from the National School of Drama, Bollywood, and beyond.
